Our friend from the south of Portugal, Rick Offen, joins us on the twenty-seventh release of our label with ‘Four Proxy’. This title leads us to explore the unknown fourth power and will unveil hidden realities yet to be discovered. Three original tracks and a remix by the majestic Argentine producer Marvio create a compact, original ensemble that defies conventional standards.

The track that gives the release its name, ‘Four Proxy’, stands out for its eclectic originality and assertive progression, with distinctive elements and significant harmony. ‘Angst’ captivates us with immense subtlety and high tension, featuring powerful percussion, arpeggiated synthesizers, and a sweet voice that traverses its entire duration.

The final original track, ‘Nomo’, is characterized by its constructive versatility, complementing acidic components and chords with current rave sounds. From Northern Italy, we are thrilled to announce the launch of MTRC025, a significant milestone for us. In this release, we proudly introduce Maicol MP and Steedo, who are making their debut in our musical family with their exceptional composition, “Ants March.” This five-piece set includes three original tracks, an ambient version of the main track, and a stunning remix crafted by our talented Italian friends, Bumppo & Philip Auster. “Ants March” is a mesmerizing, gracefully melancholic track with a distinctive groove that transports listeners to an entirely new world. or our 24th release, we are thrilled to propound the artistry of two Iranian talents, Hamoon and Nina Shamar, who join inspiration and skills to sign a masterfully crafted EP, also featuring on virtuoso remix duties UK-based Venezuelan wizard Joone and Argentinian astounding soundshaper Agustin Giri.

First up and naming the record, “Before the End” combines a deft and sensitive array of lofty resonating drum patterns with an awesome enthralling melodic main theme. Punctuated by suggestive spiraling synth lines and magnified by two spellbinding crescendo rising breaks, the tune manages the perfect and subtle balance between a solid beat-triggering manifesto and a dreamy cinematic state of mind.

Joone’s remix expands on the themes and sonic palette of the original piece through a sturdy and full reinterpretation scheme encompassing much of what his sophisticated signature is about, while staying true to its primary emotional aura. Built on a deeper flaming tempo and intense organic bassline enhanced by flamboyant razoring and ascensional synth waves, it further unveils the haunting immersive melodic original core and emphasises its suggestive majesty with a bewitching breakdown section that has a fierce mystical appeal.

On a darker pounding note, “Burned Wire” by Hamoon and Nina Shamar, whose spectral overture already says it all, harnesses a pin-sharp techno approach, also inspired by synth wave or industrial spirited flavors. Irradiated by subliminal flashes of lightness, the tune further awakens our inner self before leading us to the boiling force of a staunch hypnotic groovy bassline merged with magnetic swirling synth effects that produce a both cavernous and electrifying climax.

Finishing off the voyage in a brilliant refashioning manner, Agustin Giri revisits “Burned Wire” to transmit his own singular musical vision without losing the essence of the original statement. A fluid and compelling combination of slick rhythmic and percussive drum layers, undulating melodic synth arrangements, and a dissemination throughout the whole soundscape of the evocative spoken words to increase the timeless impact of their “Wake up” spell.

Four weapons of masterly massive attraction, defying with a captivating elegance the standard etiquette of electronic dance musicality, speaking to the mind of knowledgeable music lovers and tasteful nightbirds.

We are excited about this new release. Lerm the young hungarian talent who has already released on our label doing a remix to Cronus presents us his own work. “Eye Of The Beholder” is the name conceived for this Ep which also includes remixes of Abuk and Last Men On Earth. The track that gives name to the work is intense, powerful and elegant. A story with disturbing atmospheres and aggressive elements. Rarest Flower follows an epic path with a constant arpeggio that will help you to keep in mind this masterpiece. Argentinian Abuks remix of “Eye Of The Beholder” is a more eclectic and modern version playing with different synth and effect domains. The also argentinians LMOE created their original version of Rarest Flower and fused it with elements of old drum machines and acid synthesizers having a clear influence of music from previous years. A complete work with different points of view that will please the most demanding ears.

From the beautiful city of Ghent the young Kimmans land in Metrica. It was love at first sight. We were following this duo on their various releases and always wanted to welcome them on our label. Two powerhouses on the dancefloor present us with “LIghtning”. The first track that gives name to the release we find an aggressive and sophisticated melody that will hook us from the moment we listen to it. As the track progresses this mystery is unveiled with the help of elements that will make it finally explode. “Round Corner” is elegance in a musical piece. The fragmented voice that runs through the track along with a bass line with groove is perfectly designed so that the listeners attention is attracted by the magic that composes it. These are the two proposals that Kimman presents us to make a release that will travel the best dance floors around the world.

Intervalo returns to Metrica for his second release on our label. The producer from Malaga has created “Tork” adapting to the musical avant-garde, where the most synthetic and convoluted elements make it appetizing for the most contemporary dance floors. This great proposal is completed by the Italian producer Auggië and the young Tunisian talent S.A.S. In the track that gives name to the release Tork combines the bass line of a progressive techno with strident synthesizers well manipulated and an intense pad that gives the necessary anticipation. The rework of our dear and recognized artist Auggië is the clear example of a good work. He has transformed this aggressiveness in a calmer line but equally intense. An atmosphere full of sounds that inject you with tension and mixed feelings. Byond is the second original track of the Ep where Intervalo expresses his total vanguardism. The constant cowbell seems to give us another kind of story as it advances onwards elements bloom that will surprise you. Melodies abducted from another planet will leave you speechless. The release is closed by a remix of S.A.S. who has managed to masterfully convert a track, already achieved in a perfect complement, to another type of sensations. Including more alternative elements, he has managed to focus this remix towards another dimension. We take you to the planet Tork in the farthest galaxy.

From Berlin with a lot of love, the respected Portuguese producer has crafted a masterpiece. Jepe´s ¨astral journey¨ consists of three dance floor gems. A perfect combination of elements make up this release. The title that gives name to the ep can not be more accurate with a cosmic sound where most contemporary elements are complemented by a fine and exquisite melody. Within “Hama” we find a tense progression that hooks us throughout its duration. Elegance and hardness are the characteristics that make up the “Closer Encounter” that accompanied by aggressive percussions will make you remember this track forever. Get ready that we take off to the astral trip that our dear friend Jepe has prepared for us.

A very special release by the Mexican duo Cronus formed by Colossio and Gáme. Subtlety, psychedelia, elegance and originality are present in this avant-garde release. “Running”, as it is called, is composed of two originals by Cronus and two different and personal remixes by the young Hungarian talent Lerm and the majestic Italian producer Tayga. The first track that gives name to the release is formed by a set of vocal samples, a killer constant arpeggio, a simple and forceful drum beat and enlivened with psychedelic elements that work as different effects. “Breathing” is an atmospheric trip where the classical piano takes center stage accompanied by a sensual male voice and that progressively evolves towards an unexpected forcefulness. Lerm injects his most forceful and strident style to his remix of Running. His powerful leads and a modified arpeggio will surprise you and move you towards the most current sound of the scene. The master Tayga bets for a more traditional sound in his remix to Breathing. A “Housey” version with classic elements that fills us with energy to enjoy on the dancefloor. Welcome to the world of Cronus, welcome to an eclectic release.

From Sao Paulo (Brazil) Vini Pastori shows us his talent in this great release. With a clear commitment to Indie Dance his three tracks promise to charge energy through dance floors around the world. “Double Feeling” is the name of this work where the psychedelia of its melody plays a fundamental role and develops together with the energetic bass throughout the track. “Amoeba” shows us a more melancholic feeling with a synth that keeps the tension constant. The third track “Interlude” reminds us of classic electro combined with current sounds. This eases this masterpiece to be remembered in our minds. In the last track of this beautiful story the incredible Italian producer Aldebaran creates the magnificent version of “Double Feeling” filling it with power and majesty to complete a great magical work. Our sixteenth reference is interpreted as a great piece of quality.

Adrian Roman debut EP on Metrica label presents us one of his darkest and most melancholical proposals so far. Called “Providence”, this release is composed by the Intro and Original Mix of “Providence” itself, another original song named “Young Hearts” and three remixes by the international artists Jepe (Portugal), Colossio (Mexican) and Locati (Spain).

Alongside this tunes, we can find “Providence” Short Film, a videoclip exclusively recorded for the Intro Mix, written and directed by Rubén Valero & Mihail Comanescu and starred by the spanish producer. All in all, the three original productions build up the perfect journey experienced by the spanish artist Adrian Roman, when struggling at the studio in order to open up his feelings through the music. Intro version gives birth this short album as the perfect prelude of what Adrian is trying to express. As the “Providence” Original Mix materialize these feelings into reality, Young Hearts’ take us to the dancefloor, giving us the chance to finally liberate ourselves from our thoughts, and start dancing in some kind of ecstasy.

Jepe’s version of “Providence” brings us the most powerfull and killer part of the original, keeping the style and elegance usual throughout the entire career of the portuguese producer.

The second remix of the title track is made by Colossio, full of extravagant rythms and analog sounds that will make you think you can touch the electricity of his music.

To complete the EP, the well known Metrica’s artist Locati produced a very energetic and forceful vision of “Young Hearts”, ready to be a dancefloor hit.

Tripolism debuts with its first release on Metrica. The Danish trio of Brynjar, Rasmus and Frederik present “Loveless”. The Ep is composed of four tracks, two originals and two remixes by the Spanish Adrian Roman and the Italian Ivory. “Loveless” is a very intimate track full of great feelings, the voice tells a beautiful story that is accompanied by a complex arpeggio and serves as a hook throughout the continuation of the track, this is complemented by a nice lead and an elegant drum rhythm. Adrian´s revision consists of interesting percussion and conceptual melodies without losing the essence of the original track, a great vision that becomes a bomb for the dancefloor. Ivory´s night call brings harmonic difference in his melodies, creating a more sentimental version where the bass line plays a very important role together with his chords. The Ep is completed by “Echelon”, the perfect track to complete this release. An incredible composition full of originality in its structure with intense and constant melodies, its main synth will be remembered in your mind for a long time. Metrica´s fourteenth reference promises to be a hit, stay tuned Loveless will be a hit.

Italian duo Bumpoo and Philip Auster present “Monstera”. This release with an experimental character is the thirteenth reference of Metrica. The Ep is composed by two original tracks, “Monstera” that gives name to the release and “Madly”, plus a fantastic remix of the Spanish Novakk. The first track, “Monstera”, has a combination of very aggressive percussions that combined with a catchy melody and sporadic vocals make for a sexy story full of originality. Novakk´s version pays homage to classic Indie Dance with a bassline that gives movement to the whole dancefloor. It runs true with the main melody but combines it with hints of elation that makes the track stay with you. “Madly” is undoubtedly the most experimental piece of the release, the aggressive kick and the drum game bewitches you and keeps you expectant with its arpeggio that plays at the same time. One of the most original releases we´ve had so far, enjoy Monstera.

“Between The Rays” is the new release on Metrica. Samer Soltan has created two masterpieces where their feeling and depth take you to otherworldly spaces. Engaging melodies in a progressive and light-filled story.
The first track that gives name to the release combines organic percussion, sentimental pads and a main synth that plays with your mind and defines Samer’s great imagery.
Two alternative versions by Alex Medina, one of them emotive and atmospheric ambient track, the other version is intended for a club sound where his personal style combines perfectly with the storyline of the track.
Enai creates an elegant and sophisticated version with new elements and tremendously compatible with the initial idea.
“Reverso” is the original track that closes this release, different scenes in a short time argue its great elaboration and originality.

Metrica starts 2021 with the second edition of Bag Of Tricks. A new compilation of several artists where the philosophy of our label is exposed in twenty tracks with different feelings.

Our 9th release “Arnika’s Way” comes from debut artist Jesse Trinidad. His 1st release comes in the form of a four track EP consisting of two melancholy & contemplative originals accompanied by two alternative remixes by none other than the production wizard Aera & Metrica’s head honcho Miguel Payda.

“Arnika’s Way” is the introductory track to the EP. Organic drums & percussion drive the track nestled between delicate synth lines & swells. Reserved & stripped back, Arnikas Way slowly entices the listener with its contemporary atmosphere and infectious melody. Trinidad’s essence is glittered throughout, born between the modernity of Europe & the classicism of Andalusia & North Africa.

Aera graced “Arnika” with a complete dance floor makeover. As expected his definitive style & elegance are prominent in his remix. A pacey & progressive journey leading the listener up to a tension building wormhole. The eminent artists remix stays true to the original keeping its main characteristics & driving force.

Miguel Payda’s version teases the listener by unraveling the inner workings of “Arnika” in a ritual manner. Combining the addition of ceremonial percussion & arrangements of the main lead showing “Arnika” the protagonist in a different light.

The Last Dance & coincidentally the last track of the Ep showcases Trinidad’s world of emotion & wonder. A romantic yet conflicting sentiment underlays throughout the track. A gentle symbiosis between the organic & electronic. A soft and steady arp propels the journey layered with bamboo hits and cosmic strings.

With support from Dixon, Trikk, Innellea & many more. The EP speaks for itself. A young fresh debut artist & a great addition to the label.

“Triumph” is the name of the seventh release of Metrica. &Lez has worked on two original tracks with the tension, punch and groove that characterizes him. The two remixes, by label founder Miguel Payda and renowned artist Yubik, complete an album with great harmonic and hypnotic charge.

The first track “Triumph” maintains a constant groove accompanied by hypnotic arpeggios and exciting leads that transport your senses to a balanced adventure throughout its journey. Miguel Payda’s vision in his remix has atmospheres and melodies that come together in synergy with the original version.

“Arkanas” welcomes you from the first moment, its remarkable percussions are accompanied by an unbalancing synthesizer to finish with an emotion full of elegance. Yubik’s remix is characterized by heavenly melodies and a different rhythm, a unique piece that will infect all the senses.

In this release the artists have connected with our particular vision, creating a composition of four tracks with a high category.

It is the presentation of the Metrica sound so far, our label compiles seven tracks that will become part of this season, being the real representation of the sound we want in our music concept.These tracks will become the spirit of our events. For this release we introduce two new talents on our label. The original track Veena composed by Luke Garca & Th3 Oth3rs witch delivers a true deep spirit mixing organic sounds with synthesized harmonies. Ivan Masa’s remix gives a dance floor feeling with melodies that takes you to an other dimension.

Intervalo, after his remix of “Tears From Heaven” for Thimble in the second Ep of our Label, edits his first complete ep. “Atolón” contains two elaborate tracks, the first one that gives its name to the Ep makes us teleport to a walk of melodies and pads that together with a harmonic percussion moves us towards a land of magic. In “Palmira” there is a groove that causes the interaction between bass and percussion, accompanied by melodies, slow transitions and some darkness in chords. Filling with energy the most demanding dance floors.

The first release of the new label “Metrica” is composed by the creator of the same “Miguel Payda” where his inner voice helps him to lead the way for this new adventure.
